Managing Your Wellbeing With Divine Empowerment Founder Antonia Harman
In such an unprecedented pandemic where we are bombarded with news of constant death around us. How do we stay safe and look after not only our physical but also mental wellbeing? It’s important that we look after our immunity and keep ourselves healthy from the inside out.
Our bodies are extremely clever, we can grow life in our bellies, heal from all kinds of accidents and diseases.
But there are priorities.
Bruce Lipton the father of Epigenetics gives the following example. Imagine being chased by a Saber Toothed Tiger. The fight or flight response kicks in and you start to run with all your might to get away but let’s face it, fighting a tiger won’t work out very well just ask Carole Baskins first husband -allegedly! If you have a flu for example, how much of your life force energy would you want to be devoted to a) running from the tiger versus b) healing from the flu?
Give yourself a second to think.
The answer is 100% of the energy and power should go to getting away and 0% to the flu; that can be dealt with later. The same goes for digesting lunch, making new cells which keeps ageing slow, dealing with any disease etc.
How does that relate to the current conditions?
Constantly watching the news cycle is our Saber Toothed Tiger. We have that fear response, the energy and blood physically goes to our arms and legs away from our trunks where our major organs are, our guts shut down and we are ready to run.
For many the tiger never comes and the tiger never goes.
We are ready to run, our immune systems are switched off, literally.
Without our immune system working we are far more likely to catch virus’s such as the dreaded Covid-19.
It’s a catch 22 situation, we want to stay informed, but too much of the wrong information opens us up to the disease.
WHAT TO DO?
1. If you are finding yourself addicted to the news cycle, I suggest limiting yourself to listening or reading the news once a day. It’s unlikely a huge amount will change in 24 hours. Tune into the 6 O’clock news or whichever you prefer. If you have news alerts on your phone, switch them off. Just stick to one blast of news a day.
2. Get into the sun and fresh air when you can. Of course we are limited with the times we can be outdoors but that doesn’t mean we can’t utilise that time. Go for a walk, a run, a bike ride or any exercise you choose that will help you relax while soaking in the nutrients from the sun. If you are fortunate enough to have a garden or balcony, now is the time to make full use of it.
3. Be aware that virus’s like the cold weather. A virus will thrive in winter as it loves a colder climate. As we approach Spring/Summer with the social distancing measures, things will start to calm down. There is hope and this is not forever.
4. Do whatever gets you from the Sympathetic (stress) nervous system to the Parasympathetic (relaxed) nervous system where your body can repair and your immune system works optimally. There are many yoga, pilates, aerobics etc live classes at the moment. Exercise will help boosts your immune system.
5. Take this time to sleep more. Most of us have been working ourselves into the ground for years. Use this time help your body relax and recharge. Lessen the belief that we need be constantly busy and on the go.
6. It’s important to hydrate while we are at home as this will your body excrete the bad toxins.
7. Watch TV, enjoy catching up on the shows and movies you have missed. Read those books you’ve been meaning to get too. Learn a new language, pick up a new skill, don’t look at this period as being “trapped” it is a time to get round to all those tasks you didn’t have the time to do.
8. As tempting as it is to binge on sugary delights, try to avoid taking too much sugar. Sugar and alcohol represses the immune cells that fight bacteria. Eat fresh fruit and veg. Garlic, chicken soup help to fight viruses and bacteria. Mushrooms such as shiitake are also said to boost the immune system.
9. Laugh, connect with friends over video calls. Remember one minute of anger weakens the immune system for 4-5 hours. One minute of laughter boosts the immune system for 24 hours.
10. Why not use this time to learn something you have always wanted to? Maybe a language or a new skill? Here at Divine Empowerment, we will be teaching wonderful weekend cutting edge energy healing workshops over Zoom the next is 13-14th June.

It instantly resonated with me and I have been working with it ever since with 100% success rate on both myself and others.
Remember stress and trauma shut your immune system down so the best defence against Covid is to be as relaxed as possible. Divine Empowerment level 1, or a one-to-one healing with Divine Empowerment may just be the key to that.
