4 Tips For Feeling More Confident

Confidence is a feeling that can be very empowering and help us through our personal and work life. By being confident you can engage with people easily and feel more positive as you know what you are talking about. There will always be a time in our lives where we don’t feel as confident. When you are feeling that you need to be more confident we hope the below four tips will help.

Dress the part

The way you look can have a direct effect on how you feel and your confidence. In the morning, dress to impress. Wearing something that you wouldn’t normally wear makes you feel good. During the pandemic, many of us got into the habit of wearing loungewear as we would not be leaving our house, but every now and then it’s good to dress as you would going into the office. The clothes you wear should represent the person you are, so wearing something that you feel good in, will instantly make you feel more confident. If you need any outfit inspirations, why not take a look at Instagram for some inspiration. It can be nice to treat yourself to a new outfit that will help you feel more confident.

Speak positively and surround yourself with positive people

When surrounding yourself with positive people, it’s hard to be negative. By speaking positively you’ll naturally feel yourself being more positive and thus feeling more confident as well. If the people that are around you are negative it can be hard to feel confident when they are being negative about certain things. The more positive you are as a person, the more positive people around you will be as well.

Stop Comparing Yourself

One thing that too many people do is compare themselves to others. It’s important to remember that everyone is different, what you are good at, somebody else might not be and vice versa. Comparing yourself to another person can knock your confidence as you are more likely to point out how they are better than you when in reality you are both great at different things. Instead of comparing yourself, think about how far you have come and how successful you are. Look back to what you were doing 5 years ago and appreciate the progression and journey you have been on.

Get Back Into Your Daily Routine

Change can cause disruption in our lives that can then knock our confidence. Try to get into a daily routine that will help your confidence. On a daily basis aim to get enough sleep, get up at the same time, put your makeup on, eat your breakfast, make your bed and start the day on a positive note. If you’re finding that your confidence with how you see yourself isn’t boosted with makeup alone, there are a range of alternative treatments you can consider to get back to feeling your best, from therapy, CBT, and even aesthetic treatments including the new conceptTM facelift. A less invasive, innovative procedure that tightens the skin whilst keeping the face looking refreshed and natural. Having a solid routine can help boost your confidence as unpredictability can be unsettling.
