Spring Capsule - Emily Tierney
The days are getting longer, the wisteria is in full bloom and I can’t even look at another Cadburys creme egg… It must be nearly the end of April! My DM’s are currently full of requests for spring dresses so I thought I’d put together an edit of some lovely transitional pieces that will see you through the next few months into summer.
Green seems to be having a real moment right now and the gorgeous linen ‘It’ dress from Mint Velvet comes in the most gorgeous shade. If green isn’t your colour the dress also comes in red, black, white and yellow and a classic, timeless linen dress will never go out of style.
Nothing says spring like a versatile floral midi and the Baujken Eloise dress or the Nobody’s Child Isla Midi would work perfectly with Veja trainers for days in the city, Birkenstocks for holiday vibes or with Mango colourful strappy heels for a spring wedding.
If florals and bright colours aren’t your thing, the stunning Karina midi dress from Free People comes in black and white and would work beautifully with the Arket chunky leather sandals and a Mango oversize denim jacket.
Get your pins ready for summer dresses with my skin smoothing secret weapon, Ameliorate Transforming Body Lotion. And add a little spring glow to your cheeks with the Huda Beauty Cheeky tint stick.
And finally you’ll obviously need a basket bag to carry your obligatory bunch of spring tulips and a bottle (or two) of cold rosé as picnic season approaches. The & Other Stories straw woven tote is such a great size and will work as a holiday beach bag too. Enjoy the warmer, longer days and I’ll see you in May!
